It may contain Hungarian, Italian, Blue Dolphin, and Elm mushrooms, as well as other seasonal varieties. Dried mushrooms are sold by the ounce, and easy to store in an airtight container. To use, you can toss directly in your soups, stews, or use for an extra crunch on top of salads, baked potatoes or omelettes. You can also rehydrate the mushrooms by soaking in wine, water, broth… Whatever compliments your recipe. The dried mushrooms will absorb the liquid and expand 6 to 8 times in weight and size. And save that soaking liquid! It’s full of delicious flavor and nutrients.
