Dried Lion's Mane Mushrooms Dried mushrooms are a perfect way on keep mushrooms on-hand. Store in an airtight jar with some rice grains for moisture control. When you want to use the mushrooms, just drop them into a soup, ramen, or stew. To rehydrate, place in a bowl and add warm water, allow to sit for about 15 minutes. Save the water as a vegan soup base or use to make rice. Crush the dried mushrooms and add on top of your favorite dish. Additionally, place in a container with olive oil to create mushroom infused oils. 1oz of dried Lion's Mane mushrooms is equal to approximately 10oz of fresh mushrooms. 1 oz of dried Oyster mushrooms is equal to approximately 6 oz of fresh mushrooms. 1 oz of dried Chestnut mushrooms is equal to approximately 8 oz of fresh mushrooms.
